Below is a list of my current programming offerings of panels and workshops.​

​​Panel Presentations:
  • Battle Damage for Cosplay: Weathering 101 - Have you battled dragons, stormed kingdoms, saved the world? Well show people with awesome battle damaged costumes! Join Naychan for a discussion of simple and affordable weathering techniques to add character & dimension to your costumes, armor, & props.
  • Building A Ballgown - Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! ​This is the ballgown panel for you! Come learn the ins and outs of ballgowns from under-structure to beautiful overlaying fabrics! Discussions of hoop-skirts, petticoats, corsets, fabric choices, & more will be included. You'll look grand by midnight!
  • Cosplay Confections - We all love a good café episode, but carrying around a tray of real snacks at a con is super impractical. This is where cosplay food props come in! Come for a discussion of different techniques to create the food props of your dreams using everyday items like sponges or spackle. Your cosplay confections will last con after con and still look just as delicious!
  • Extreme Cosplay Safety 101 - Cosplay is one of the most fun hobbies you can pick up with a multitude of different techniques to learn and master when creating garments, props, armor and more. But did you know there is a dark world of hazards to battle while becoming your favorite characters?? Come behind the seams for a discussion on extreme cosplay safety with an overview of what PPE to use and why when working with different glues, paints, foams, and materials you force through your sewing machine.
  • Foamsmithing: Foam Clay 101 - Foam clay can be a tricky material to work with, so come learn some tricks to making the cosplay props of your dreams! This panel discussion starts with the absolute basics of how the clay works, then builds up to using it for: props, armor embellishments, and cosplay food. We will discuss everything from sculpting, utilizing molds & fillers, and what kind of glue you will need for, so you can plan your first project with foam clay!
  • Hacking Cosplay: Tips & Tricks - A discussion panel covering a number of topics that will save you time and money including: seam finishing techniques (including horsehair braid, piping & bias tape), fabric dye basics, more than you thought you needed to know about rhinestones, how to decide what glue to use on a project, ways chalk liner can save your project and more!
  • Painting: Turning Your Armor and Props from Drab to FAB! - Have you built an epic prop but have the feeling that it's missing something. This is where the magic of painting comes in! Join Naychan for a discussion of different weathering and cel-shading techniques to really make your armor and props POP! With just a little paint you can take it from drab to FAB!
  • Surviving Con-Crunch - Even the best of plans go out the window when the convention is in a week! Join Naychan for some tales of con-crunch past and advice on how to set yourself up for success... or make a backup plan... and a second backup plan, so you can still enjoy the con and your cosplays! Come with your best con crunch stories to share as well!
  • Taking the First Stitch - So you've decided you want to make a cosplay but have no idea where to start with selecting patterns, choosing fabric, and the ever daunting actual cutting of your fancy fabric? Come join Naychan for a discussion on beginner-friendly cosplay planning so you can build your confidence to take that first stitch on your next project!
  • Thermoplastics 101 - New to thermoplastics like worbla? How do you know which thermoplastic is right for you and your cosplay? This panel is a discussion of the absolute basics and techniques you need to get started working with thermoplastics as well as how to plan your first project with them!​

Judging Cosplay Contests:
​As a cosplayer with years of experience in many different types of fabrication I can bring my knowledge to judging your costume contest! I strive to give each competitor a positive judging experience and to help build their confidence and excitement for the hobby.

I have been hosting panels and workshops at a number of conventions since 2015 and always love sharing my knowledge to help others create their dream costumes. I can offer a wide variety of panels and bring my experience and expertise to your event for any skill level. Please see below for my current panel offerings.

Hands on Workshops:​
  • Flower Crowns & You! - Whether it's for cosplay, Renfaire, concerts, or just everyday vibing, flower crowns make an excellent accessory to any outfit! No experience is necessary, you will be walked through every step to create your own custom flower crown to take home with you!
  • Hand Stitching & You! - Join Naychan in learning some basic hand stitches that can tack things seemingly invisibly for your next project! No experience is necessary, you will learn exactly how and why to use several different different types hems and get to take home your very own sampler of these stitches!
  • Embroidery & You! - From the cosplayer that brought you "Hand Stitching and You!" comes an all new workshop on basic embroidery stitches! No experience is necessary, you will learn exactly how and why to use several different embroidery stitches and you will get to take home your very own sampler of these stitches!

Additional Programming:
  • Cosplay Slumber Party! - Grab your pajam-jams, it is time for a cosplay slumber party! This is a great change to meet and hang out with other convention attendees for a cozy night of card games, coloring, and music, open to all attendees. Cosplay pajamas are heavily encouraged but not required. This event can be customized for particular fandoms or themes (eg: RWBY cosplay and music, etc).
  • Ultimate Cosplay Jeopardy - Think you have what it takes to go head to head with other cosplayers in this trivia contest??? Test your knowledge on different crafting materials, cosplay history, crafting crimes, and even cosplay representation in the media. Teams will be chosen from attendees.

I am always open to the developing new programming for conventions and I can provide expertise or short demos on the following topics:
